In order to deliver the groundbreaking abilities MarInt offers, the Windward R&D center is filled with super talented software developers, analysts and researchers.

The core of Windward’s systems is built on algorithms derived from existing statistical models of particle physics, a rule-based, heuristic model for anomaly detection and general ship behavior analysis, and a ton of maritime know-how and intimate knowledge with real-life maritime scenarios.

That processing core is executed on a robust and scalable, cloud-based infrastructure, and architected to handle the amount of incoming data and the required complexities of the Windward’s systems runtime.

Our software developers are veterans of some of the elite IDF technical units (8200 and others), graduates of prestigious Israeli universities (Technion; TAU), and are all experts in their fields.

The deep maritime understanding we leverage in Windward is the output of many Israeli (res.) naval officers and ship captains. Windward’s analysts are professional data specialists, who produce fantastic insights, all integrated in MarInt’s internals.
